ANGELINA TEA HOUSE
Day 3 in Paris was especially exciting for us. Eiffel Tower!! To start the day we took an early morning walk to Angelina Tea House on Rue de Rivoli. Angelina is famous for their hot chocolate. The hot chocolate was as thick as melted chocolate. We really liked it once we put a lot of cream in it. Good thing my wife remembered to bring my Lactaid. 😅 We also had their croque monsieur as it was also our mission to try as much croque monsieur as we could in Paris. Angelina's version of croque monsieur was quite enjoyable. And we liked the quiche as well. We also took home some cookies from Angelina. which turned out to be good gifts. They are shown at the top of the souvenirs picture below.

THE EIFFEL TOWER
We later took the subway (Métro) to the Eiffel tower. We first went to Cité de l'Architecture et du Patrimoine to purchase our museum pass and to take nice Eiffel Tower pictures from the area to the right of the museum. The view was just breathtaking. Check out the pictures below. The Eiffel Tower is about 15-20 minutes walk from the Architecture museum. We passed through the beautiful Jardins du Trocadéro (Gardens of the Trocadero) on our way to the tower. When we got there we had to go through the security check where they looked into our bags. It is similar to security checks at Disneyland. You can't bring any type of liquids with you. Food and drinks are available on the esplanade, first, and second floors. And there are gift shops too as you might have guessed. 😊 It is possible to get to the summit but we chose to stop at the second floor. When you take the elevator, it first stops on the first floor and then the second floor. The views from both floors are amazing. The Museum of Architecture and Monumental Sculpture in Paris |

LE PETIT CLER
After the Eiffel Tower tour, we walked for about 10-15 minutes to our lunch place, Le Petit Cler. It is in a very nice neighborhood with attractive little shops. I highly recommend going to this neighborhood after visiting the Eiffel Tower.Le Petit Cler Restaurant |

If you prefer take-out food, Traiteur Jeusselin on Rue Cler looks really good to us. Everything on display looks very delicious. Please note there is no seating on the premise.
