Food Trip to Seoul : Ewha Womans University, Andong Jjimdak

Ewha (Pear Blossoms) Womans University is a private women's university in Seoul. It features a historic campus with impressive building architectures and beautiful landscapes. If you like to take pictures, this place will not disappoint. It is approximately a 10-minute walk from the nearest subway station. There are plenty of shops to visit between the subway station and the campus.

EWHA ANDONG JJIMDAK

One of the reasons we went to Ewha was to have lunch at Ewha Andong Jjimdak restaurant. It is famous for its Andong style braised chicken stew. The restaurant is in the basement and it is kind of cozy.

We tried the boneless Andong style braised chicken (half) and it is one of the most delicious Korean dishes that we have ever had. It has glass noodles, carrots, potatoes, mushrooms and rice cakes in it. It was perfectly seasoned, not too salty and not too sweet. Even though the portion looked big, my wife and I had no problem finishing it. You can order extra items such as rice cakes, glass noodles, dumplings, or cheese. They have soda and alcoholic beverages to order as well.
